Following the tax cut win, the giant telecom company AT&T is celebrating with one billion dollars in capital spending (in the US of course) and one thousand dollars bonuses for more than two hundred thousand employees. Obviously, all these will happen once the GOP tax reform legislation will be signed by President Trump into law.
As per a press release from Wednesday via AT&T:
“If the President signs the bill before Christmas, employees will receive the bonus over the holidays,”
The $1000 bonus will go to AT&T’s union represented employees, front line managers and non management, i.e. the blue collar, hard working Americans who were promised by the POTUS will be helped by his tax cut program. AT&T chief Randall Stephenson has said:
“Congress, working closely with the President, took a monumental step to bring taxes paid by U.S. businesses in line with the rest of the industrialized world. This tax reform will drive economic growth and create good-paying jobs.”
The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is now awaiting Trump’s signature. Its final version gives a juicy tax cut to the middle class and small businesses and, very important, it repeals Obamacare/ACA’s individual mandate, reduces corporate tax from 35% to 21%, doubles the standard deduction for individuals and married couples alike and, finally, opens up the Arctic Wildlife Refuge for oil drilling, which means cheaper oil and gas, i.e. prosperity.
President Trump has said:
The individual mandate is being repealed. When the individual mandate is being repealed that means Obamacare is being repealed because they get their money from the individual mandate. So the individual mandate is being repealed. So in this bill not only do we have massive tax cuts and tax reform, we have essentially repealed Obamacare. And we’ll come up with something that will be much better. Whether it’s block grants or whether it’s taking what we have and doing something terrific. But Obamacare has been repealed in this bill.”
So how are the DEMs going to bribe their voters with tax dollars now? Trump just gave money back to people who work for a living, leaving the left with the unemployed as their core voter base.
$200,000,000 in bonus payments from AT&T, of which 60-70% goes directly on retail spending (it’s almost Christmas), plus another $1 billion in new investment. And this is just from one company.
Get ready for the real economic boom to begin. Look out.
