The DOW, Nasdaq and the S&P 500 hit record highs (again) on Friday, with DOW popping 224 points and stocks notching record close on strong earnings, with companies like Honeywell, AbbVie, Rockwell and Intel reporting better than expected revenue and earnings.
The Dow Jones industrial average hit intraday and closing records on Friday, rising 223,92 points, the S&P 500 saw its biggest one day gain since March 1 2017, gaining 1.2%, while the Nasdaq composite notched record highs, advancing 1.3%, having its best day since January 2. The US economy grew by 2.6% during 2017’s 4th quarter, which is kind of disappointing, after many economists predicted a gain of 3%.
According to DEM leader Nancy Pelosi, the Americans are just getting crumbs. Crumbs! Give me some more crumbs then! Never happened with a Democrat President , as they have all become control freaks , trying to control for a 0.2 degree rise in temperature, maybe in 100 years. Trump and Republicans see sunshine, and a never ending bounty of being allowed to thrive in the land of freedom.
Want to hear something absurd? Calderon, the DEM leader of the house in Commiefornia, wants to punish waiters who offer plastic straws via $1000 fines and/or 6 months in jail. Because plastics are killing the planet! Control, control, control, every minuscule action of your life. But God forbid you want to “peek” into someone’s bedroom, and you will be accused of being a sexist, homophobic, racist, and tyrant. Did i leave anything out?
The WSJ ran a piece today titled “”Can Anything Stop the Good Times?” Absolutely. If the Democrats take over congress this year, the economy is going right back into the toilet, just like it did when they took over congress in 2007. Another thing that can stop the good times is our own American media, by continuing to vilify the president 24/7 like they’ve done since the day he announced his candidacy, and get a Democrat elected president, who will reverse all the Obama/Democrat rules and regulations that Trump had overturned. That would end everything and cause huge loss to business and jobs.
