Amal Clooney might just be one of the very few celebrities suddenly thrust into the public eye who actually appreciate all the press attention.
But it has nothing to do with her… it’s apparently really benefiting her job, and a result, is helping her help more people than ever!
The human rights lawyer, who is currently expecting twins with husband George Clooney, opened up in an interview with BBC News at Six about how her work has changed since being in the public eye.
“I mean, there’s a lot of my work that takes place behind closed doors and that is not seen,” Amal Clooney said in the interview.
“I think if there are more people who now understand what’s happening about the Yazidis and Isis.
“If there can be some action that results from that, that can help those clients, then I think it’s a really good thing to give that case the extra publicity that it may get.”
Well said, Amal Clooney.
Be honest, how many of you have taken more of an interest since George and Amal have been seeing each other?
Although Amal reportedly has no desire to stop working once the twins arrive, George Clooney commented that she will be steering clear of “dangerous” places during her pregnancy…
“We decided to be much more responsible, to avoid the danger,” George said last month.
“I won’t go to South Sudan any more or the Congo, Amal will no longer go to Iraq and she’ll avoid places where she knows she isn’t welcome.”
