Yesterday we brought you the heart-breaking news that a bomb had exploded after an Ariana Grande concert in the UK city of Manchester.
Authorities have confirmed that at least 19 people have lost their lives in the brutal attack, while over 50 are said to be seriously injured.
Now, Ariana Grande has broken her silence on the attack, which has now been confirmed as a terrorist attack, with a brief but emotional Twitter message.
The message read:
“broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don’t have words.”
Ariana’s official team also addressed the horrific event…
“Tonight, our hearts are broken. Words cannot express our sorrow for the victims and families harmed in this senseless attack.
“We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act. We are thankful for the selfless service tonight of Manchester’s first responders who rushed towards danger to help save lives.
“We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families and all those affected in your hearts and prayers.”
It is now thought that Ariana Grande, who is said to be “in consolable” will cancel/postpone her Dangerous Woman concerts that were scheduled for Thursday and Friday at London’s 02 Arena.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to anyone affected by the attack.
