Ashley Graham is the “ground-breaking” new face of Revlon – “Historically, curvy girls are not given beauty contacts!”

Ashley Graham is making history, as she has just been named as one of the newest faces of beauty brand Revlon.

The plus size model stars in Revlon’s ‘Live Boldly’ campaign, alongside new brand ambassador Gal Gadot. Adwoa Aboah, Imaan Hammam, and Raquel Zimmerman also feature in the ground-breaking new campaign.

“Historically, curvy girls are not given beauty contacts,” Ashley Graham told WWD.

“It’s kind of ground-breaking, because in my generation of models, this hasn’t happened yet.

“This is one of those moments where I’m over the moon, I cried a little.”

This is a pretty huge deal for Ashley and all other curvy models who have previously been shunned for beauty contracts in favour of more “traditional” sized models.

But as Ashley quite rightly said, “the average American woman is a size 14 and if you ask me, lipstick does not have a size.”

We can’t wait to see more images from this campaign. Akin to all other Ashley Graham pictures, we predict they’re going to be breath-taking!

And let’s hope they inspire women everywhere too!
