Being First Lady “isn’t something Melania Trump wanted”, according to long-term friend

Although there have been a few hiccups along the way, Melania Trump seems to have settled into her role as First Lady, taking on quite a few important tasks in her first year.

However, according to a close friend of the presidential family, being First Lady of the United States of America was one of the last things Melania Trump wanted…

“This isn’t something she wanted and it isn’t something he ever thought he’d win,” an anonymous friend told Vanity Fair for its detailed Melania Trump profile.

“She didn’t want this come hell or high water. I don’t think she thought it was going to happen.”

“She didn’t want this come hell or high water. I don’t think she thought it was going to happen.”

Melania Trump could have had her chance to tell her side of the story too, but she reportedly refused to be interviewed for the Vanity Fair profile.

However, Paolo Zampoll – a U.N. ambassador for Dominica, and the former proprietor of a modelling agency who introduced Donald to Melania 20 years ago – has spoken up for the First Lady.

He said that admittedly “it was not pleasant” for Melania at the beginning, but she is finally getting used to her new job.

“To be the most famous person in the world is not that bad,” he continued.

“I don’t think you can come up with a conspiracy theory that she is not that happy.

“She is the First Lady of the United States. Come on! She knows what she wants.”

An interesting opinion! You can read the whole profile right here.
