Caitlyn Jenner condemns Donald Trump’s transgender military ban… and Kim Kardashian supports her, too!

Yesterday we told you that Donald Trump had announced a ban on all transgenders joining the US military.

For anyone who missed it, he Tweeted the following:

“United States Government will not accept or allow transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military.”

He also added that the military “cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail.”

As you can imagine, it was quite an unpopular decision; it was instantly met with criticism, and many famous faces from Ariana Grande to Laverne Cox were quick to voice their opinions on the President’s ruling.

One famous face, Caitlyn Jenner – who actually supported Trump during his campaign, no less – shared her opinion on her personal blog… and she certainly didn’t hold back…

“I believe every American should be outraged by the disrespect shown to those people wearing our country’s uniform”

“Studies estimate there are as many as 15,000 transgender people already serving this country—and for those brave people fighting for our nation, Trump’s early morning tweets must be devastating. I believe every American should be outraged by the disrespect shown to those people wearing our country’s uniform,” she wrote.

“Furthermore, this half-baked idea puts all of our service members in harm’s way.

“Does President Trump intend to just pull 15,000 people out of every critical position to which they are currently assigned? That would disrupt core military missions around the world and needlessly endanger our troops.”

“That would disrupt core military missions around the world and needlessly endanger our troops.”

Kim Kardashian, who now has a bit of a rocky relationship with Caitlyn Jenner, supported her on Twitter.

“Banning transgender people from serving our country is simply wrong,” Kim Tweeted.

“We should be so grateful to anybody who wants to serve!”

Where do you guys stand on Donald Trump’s ban?
