Donald Trump is being sued for blocking people on Twitter

Donald Trump might want to rethink his social media obsession, especially if it’s going to land him in trouble…

The President of the United States, who is known to express himself via a controversial Tweet or two, is actually being sued by some of the people he has blocked on Twitter, after they sent him some less than complimentary Tweets…

The legal complaint is being filed by the Knight First Amendment Institute, a free speech group at Columbia University, because Trump’s actions are a violation of their First Amendment right to free speech.

“The First Amendment applies to this digital forum in the same way it applies to town halls and open school board meetings,” said Jameel Jaffer, executive director of the Knight First Amendment Institute.

“The White House acts unlawfully when it excludes people from this forum simply because they’ve disagreed with the president.”

Well, there you go. This isn’t the first time Donald Trump has been sued, either.

According to reports, the POTUS has actually been sued, wait for it, an astonishing 4,000 times over the past 30 years.

We can’t even get our heads around that.

We’ll let you know how the guys on Trump’s block list get on…
