Fifth Harmony made their magazine cover debut as foursome in the latest issue of Galore. They did an interview with the magazine, and opened up about the recording process without Camila Cabello, who left the group in 2016.
“We’ve been creating sounds that we’ve been wanting to touch base on. Some R&B tones, some rhythmic tones. It’s been amazing to create with one another because we’re so different when it comes to music. We love different genres. So to vibe together and create this Fifth Harmony sound is what makes it so special,” noted member Dinah Jane.
Ally Brooke spoke about the close relationship between the band’s members. She said that the four of them are really in sync with each other and that they’re pretty open with each other about most things. “We try to respect each other as much as we can. For us, communication is really important,” Ally said.
Brooke also added that they “enjoy a lot of the same things as each other. Like going to get frozen yogurt, or go to the movies, or talk about boys, exchange music, have fun at the red carpet and encourage each other with, ‘Hey, you look beautiful!’”
We’ve yet to see how successful the group will be without Camila, but it looks like the chemistry between the four remaining members will definitely help them create some great music in the future.
