Frances Bean Cobain makes Marc Jacobs modelling debut

When you’re starting out as a model, we bet you’d never in your wildest dreams think your first job will be an ad campaign for one of the hottest designers in the world.

Well, that’s exactly what happened to Frances Bean Cobain, i.e. the daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain, as she has landed the Marc Jacobs spring/summer 2017 ad campaign. Doesn’t she look like she was just born to do this?

“I have always wanted to work with Frances,” Marc Jacobs wrote on his Instagram underneath the picture.

“Her beauty, uniqueness, and strength is something I have long admired and respected. Few things remain as constant as my continued inspiration from those whose honesty, integrity, courage, and curiosity lead them to explore and venture beyond preconceived boundaries.

“Photographed by David Sims, I am pleased to share the first image of Frances Bean Cobain for our Spring/Summer 2017 campaign.”

Marc Jacobs enlisted the help of her mother, Courtney Love, for his autumn/winter 2016 ad campaign, as well as a whole host of well-known fashionistas.

We predict that these latest ads won’t be any different either, so expect to see lots more famous faces rocking his latest designs.

What do you think of her modelling debut?

You can certainly tell she has those rock legend genes, that’s for sure!
