Singer Joy Villa became an instant sensation after she crashed the Grammy Awards wearing a “Make America Great Again” dress.
After pulling that cool stunt, Joy Villa discovered that her bold move radically changed the course of her musical career, as she saw her Amazon sales exploding. By exploding, I mean that literally, i.e. a 54 million percent sales increase, which is outstanding by any metrics.
The 25 year old singer set social media and mainstream media on fire on Sunday as she walked the red-carpet wearing a dress decorated with Donald Trump’s MAGA slogan in red white and blue.
In a matter of hours after the happening, digital sales for Joy Villa’s album I Make the Static skyrocketed on Amazon’s top 100 digital albums.
The same story went on on iTunes top albums list, as Joy Villa’s album hit the #11t spot on the iTunes charts on Monday 9 AM Pacific Time. To give you some perspective, Beyonce’s Lemonade album was at #90 and Lady Gaga’s The Fame was at #33.
Villa’s I Make the Static album was previously ranked 543,502 while her other albums were basically unranked.
Joy Villa’s decision to set the troll the awards and break ranks with the huge wave of anti Trumpism in Hollywood proved to be the best decision of her life.
However, tolerant leftists started their usual hate, racism and death threats campaign against the singer, and they even changed her Wikipedia entry to show her name as “Joy Angela Villa Trash” with an occupation of “trash supporter.”

It would be interesting (and pathological) to compare the violent outrage sparked by Joy Villa’s dress and the non reaction to Victoria Rowell’s apparel, as she wore an Obama dress to the Emmy’s back in 2009.

It seems like Conservatism is the new counter culture and that’s as good as it gets.
