Sad news for all Justin Bieber fans this morning, as the Canadian popstar has just announced that the rest of the tour dates on his Purpose tour are cancelled!
“Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He is grateful and honoured to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across six continents during this run,” reads a statement on his official website.
“However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”
Although this statement doesn’t give a reason for the cancelled tour dates, other sources are claiming “unforeseen circumstances” while others suggest that he is simply overworked and suffering from burnout as a result of being on tour for the past two years. Something which JB himself has admitted to…
“I’m sorry for anybody who feels disappointed or betrayed,” Justin Bieber told TMZ.
“I have been on tour for two years. I’m looking forward to just resting, getting some relaxation and we’re going to ride some bikes.”
We hope you feel better soon, Justin!
