Kendall Jenner is already used to controversy thanks to that ill-fated Pepsi commercial a few months ago… but this might be new territory for younger sis Kylie Jenner.
The girls have landed themselves in hot water after releasing a line of “vintage band T-shirts” featuring their own faces superimposed onto legends such as Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Kiss and Pink Floyd without asking for the artists’ permission.
Or so Biggie Smalls’ mother, Voletta Wallace, has implied …
“The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me.
“I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the deaths of 2pac and my son Christopher to sell a T-shirt.
“This is disrespectful, disgusting, and exploitation at its worst!!!”
Ouch! Kendall and Kylie seemed to be okay with the public’s confusion over their designs (many fans questioned whether the T-shirts could even be classed as “vintage”) and still kept them on sale on their website.
It was only after Voletta’s post, and the threat of legal action, that they pulled them from their website and removed all promo pics from their social media.
We doubt this will affect Kylie Jenner’s position as the youngest ever celeb on the Forbes Celebrity 100 rich list.
