Kylie Minogue wins Kylie Jenner trademark battle

It’s no secret that Kylie Jenner has tried to ditch her last name for a few years now, which has inevitably led to some confusion among her fans and the fans of Australian singer Kylie Minogue.

The littlest Jenner tried to trademark the name Kylie back in 2014 if you can believe it, but Kylie Minogue understandably had something to say about it. Quite a few things, actually. Mean things. Kylie Jenner fans, look away now…

The singer referred to Kylie Jenner as a “secondary reality-television personality” and in comparison, described herself as an “internationally renowned performing artist, humanitarian and breast-cancer activist known worldwide simply as ‘Kylie'”.

Yikes! Those harsh descriptions obviously did the trick as Kylie Minogue has actually won the legal battle!

The US Patent Office rejected Kylie Jenner’s application last week, which she clearly wasn’t very happy about.

Kylie Jenner wants to use her name to promote her beauty collection, and has appealed the judge’s decision.

Let’s see whether things will change…

Who do you think deserves the rights to the name “Kylie”?
