Leonardo DiCaprio, Kim Kardashian and Sandra Bullock raise millions for Hurricane Harvey

When it’s not poking fun at Melania Trump for wearing stilettos to visit flood victims, the world seems to be helping those affected by Hurricane Harvey in any way it can. The A-listers in particular…

The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation alone made a staggering $1 Million donation, with all the funds going to United Way Worldwide which will help communities all around Texas recover from the disaster.

“We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of Leonardo DiCaprio and his foundation,” United Way Worldwide President and CEO Brian Gallagher said in a statement.

“Responding to Hurricane Harvey requires the best of all of us–and that’s what this gift represents.

“United Way’s Harvey Recovery Fund will provide much-needed help for the communities along the Gulf Coast where lives have been changed forever.”

And Leo isn’t the only kind-hearted famous face to step in.

Sandra Bullock also pledged $1 million to help the victims of the flood, while Kim Kardashian and her family have donated $500,000 to the American Red Cross.

“We have been watching the heartbreaking footage of the catastrophic flooding in Houston and our hearts go out to the people of Texas,” Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner wrote on Instagram.

“We must all stand together in times of need!”

The American Red Cross, Coalition for the Homeless, Houston Food Bank, Houston SPCA, Salvation Army and Save the Children are all accepting donations for relief efforts, so regardless of who gets your donation, you know it will be going to a good cause.
