Melania Trump reads Dr Seuss to sick children in hospital

News klaxon: Melania Trump has just embarked on her first solo official outing!

The First Lady visited Manhattan’s NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center yesterday, where she read to sick children as part of ‘National Read Across America Day’.

“So you know what is today?” she asked the children.

“It’s a reading day. So I came to encourage you to read, and to think about what you want to achieve in life.”

Melania read the popular Dr Seuss book, Oh,The Places You’ll Go, in celebration of the author’s birthday, which must have sounded more like her unofficial biography given some of the sentences found in the book.

Do you think she resonated with the text below?

“You’ll be as famous as famous can be. With the whole wide world watching you win on TV.”

Pretty accurate, if you ask us!

She’s had a busy week, but have to congratulate Melania Trump on handling her first ever solo outing with class!

What will her next solo adventure be?
