For the second time, Chelsea Clinton has come to Barron Trump’s defence… and it definitely hasn’t gone unnoticed!
The former First Daughter defended Donald and Melania Trump’s 11-year-old son, after an article that was published in The Daily Caller made fun of his sartorial style…
“The youngest Trump doesn’t have any responsibilities as the president’s son, but the least he could do is dress the part when he steps out in public,” the article read.
And of all people, Chelsea Clinton was the one who felt the need to speak out against the article…
“It’s high time the media and everyone leave Barron Trump alone and let him have the private childhood he deserves,” she wrote on Twitter.
“Barron is A KID,” she added.
“No child should be talked about in the below manner-in real life or online. And for an adult to do so? For shame”
Good on you, Chelsea Clinton.
Melania Trump wasted no time in showing her gratitude to her on Twitter.
The Tweet read:
“Thank you @ChelseaClinton – so important to support all of our children in being themselves! #StopChildhoodBullying
Combating cyber bullying is one of Melania Trump’s top focuses as First Lady, so we’re pleased that she acknowledged Chelsea Clinton’s Tweet and used it in her battle against bullying.
“Our culture has gotten too mean and too rough, especially to children and teenagers,” Melania Trump previously said about the topic.
“We have to find a better way to talk to each other, to disagree with each other, to respect each other.”
