Sarah Jessica Parker and Sex and the City co-star Kim Cattrall are still at each other’s throats, and it doesn’t look like their ongoing fight is going away any time soon.
Back in October, Kim Cattrall dismissed the rumours that a third Sex and the City movie would be happening. She crushed a lot of people’s dreams – including ours – although she did give her blessing for another actress to take on the infamous role of Samantha Jones.
Naturally, SJP didn’t want that to happen, but Kim Cattrall wasn’t happy with the way she went about it, saying that she “could have been nicer” about her wishes to not do the movie. She also branded her relationship with her other co-stars as “toxic”.
Well, four months later, SJP has finally responded to her co-star’s “hurtful” comments, and she’s just as upset as we thought she’d be!
“I never talked about it, except to say that some of us were disappointed about the movie not happening,” Sarah Jessica Parker told People.
“But I never responded to the conversation Kim had with Piers Morgan, where she said things that were really hurtful about me.
“We had this experience and it was amazing, and nothing will ever be like it. We had a connection with an audience, and we had a connection with the city and with this crew, and we got to tell these crazy stories with each other.
“So I don’t want to mess with that. I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing that part.”
We can’t argue with that! Despite their differences, SJP reached out to Kim to offer her condolences after her brother went missing and was later found dead.
However, KC took to Instagram to slam her former co-star, accusing her of “exploiting” her tragedy “to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.”
Wow. We think we’ll leave it there.
