Selena Gomez’s mother warned her not to work with Woody Allen

Selena Gomez’s mother, Mandy Teefy, has just revealed that she warned her daughter against working with controversial director Woody Allen.

However, as you can already guess, it fell on “deaf ears”…

“Sorry, no one can make Selena do anything she doesn’t want to,” Mandy Teefy wrote on Instagram.

“I had a long talk with her about not working with him and it didn’t click. Her team are amazing people. There is no fall person here. No one controls her.

“She makes all her own decisions. No matter how hard you try to advise. It falls on deaf ears.”

Selena Gomez has received a lot of backlash from her fans for choosing to work with the director who was accused of molesting his seven-year-old adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, in 1992.

And predictably, she has received even more backlash in the last few days, as she has remained silent while her A Rainy Day in New York co-stars have pledged to donate all of their salaries from the film to charity.

To top it all off, Selena was also branded a hypocrite for supporting the Times Up movement despite her decision to star in Woody Allen’s film.

Selena’s silence is pretty deafening right now. Now would be a good time to speak up!
