“She goes through very dark times” – how Georgina Chapman is coping after Harvey Weinstein split

Harvey Weinstein’s soon-to-be ex-wife Georgina Chapman has kept exceptionally quiet since the sexual assault scandal erupted a few months ago.

Apart from issuing a statement to say she was leaving him and filing for divorce, the Marchesa designer has kept a very low profile, staying out of the public eye and social media.

However, her good friend and Project Runway All Stars co-star Alyssa Milano has revealed a little bit about how she is coping…

“Georgina is doing very well,” she told Today.

“She’s an amazing mother. She’s an amazing woman, and I think her priority right now is focusing on how to raise those two children to the best of her capacity given the situation.

“She goes through very dark times. She’s very sad.

“This is not easy for her, but I have no doubt that not only will she come out on the other side of this, but she deserves to too.

“She’s a good woman.”

According to reports, both Harvey Weinstein and Georgina Chapman have hired big name lawyers to handle their divorce. Weinstein will be represented by Steven M. Silpe, while Chapman will be represented by Bernard Clair and Robert Cohen.
