Taylor Swift’s mother testifies at her daughter’s sexual assault case: “I wanted to vomit and cry at the same time”

Taylor Swift is just one of many celebs who have experienced the dark side of the music industry – but she isn’t letting her sexual offender get off lightly!

This week is going to be a tough one for the singer, as she will be taking to the stand, along with her mother Andrea Swift, to testify against radio DJ David Mueller who was accused of sexually assaulting her back in 2013.

Last year, Taylor Swift went into detail about the horrifying event, explaining how the DJ allegedly reached his hand up her skirt and groped her backstage at one of her concerts in Denver.

David Mueller was since fired after Taylor opened up to her mother and manager about the incident. He initially tried to sue for damages for his reputation and lost earnings, but Taylor Swift has counter sued for assault and battery. Quite a complicated case, we must admit.

Taylor Swift’s mother’s account of the incident, as recalled in court, is pretty heart-breaking…

“I knew what happened, I heard it from her, I heard it from my daughter’s mouth. He sexually assaulted her, right there, that guy,” Andrea Swift reportedly told the court room in a very emotional statement.

“She couldn’t believe that after he grabbed her, that she thanked them for being there. It was just destroying her that she said that.

“As a parent it made me question why I taught her to be so polite in that moment.

“I was upset to the extent of feeling like I wanted to vomit and cry at the same time,” she concluded.

According to People magazine, David Mueller’s defense involved him stating that he touched “what seemed to be a ribcage or ribs.” He also told his lawyer that it was “humiliating thing to be accused of something that despicable”.

We’ll let you know what happens as this court case develops.
