Uma Thurman finally breaks Harvey Weinstein silence: “You don’t deserve a bullet”

We’ve been waiting for Uma Thurman to share her own experiences with Harvey Weinstein since the news of his sexual assault in Hollywood first broke in October.

The actress was keen to initially stay quiet, and promised that she would only come forward with more information when she felt “ready”.

“I don’t have a tidy soundbite for you, because I have learned, I am not a child. And I have learned that when I’ve spoken in anger, I usually regret the way I express myself,” she said last month.

“So, I’ve been waiting to feel less angry, and when I’m ready, I’ll say what I have to say.”

Well, now it looks like the time for her to divulge has finally arrived. And she chose Thanksgiving, of all days, to do it!

“Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Except you Harvey, and all your wicked conspirators. I’m glad it’s going slowly. You don’t deserve a bullet.”

Uma Thurman shared a picture of her Kill Bill character Beatrix Kiddo on Instagram yesterday, and as well as wishing her followers a Happy Thanksgiving, also gave us what we have been waiting over a month for…

“I am grateful today, to be alive, for all those I love, and for all those who have the courage to stand up for others,” she began.

“I said I was angry recently, and I have a few reasons, #metoo, in case you couldn’t tell by the look on my face. I feel it’s important to take your time, be fair, be exact, so…Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

“Except you Harvey, and all your wicked conspirators. I’m glad it’s going slowly. You don’t deserve a bullet.”

Thank you for this, Uma Thurman. It was definitely worth the wait!
