WATCH: Taylor Swift premieres video of record-breaking new single Look What You Made Me Do

Taylor Swift is all anyone is talking about right now. And for good reason, too!

Taylor Swift premiered the video of her highly anticipated new single Look What You Made Me Do at the MTV Video Music Awards last night… and all we can say is that it was definitely worth the wait!

The video is like nothing we have ever seen from Taylor before, and comes complete with gold thrones, gold cars, and even bathtubs filled with diamonds. We do not lie!

It also features all of Taylor Swift’s personas over the years, including the outfit she wore at the 2009 VMAs when her acceptance speech was interrupted by a disgruntled Kanye West. As if we needed more proof that the song was about him!

The song has been such a big hit that it’s already smashed quite a few records.

At the time of writing, the song has reportedly been streamed on Spotify more than eight million times on the release date alone, which is a huge record in itself.

And that’s not all. The single has broken YouTube records as well, as the single’s lyric video – which we showed you last week – was viewed more than 19 million times over a 24 hour period; record-breaking achievement for Taylor Swift!

And finally, if we are to believe Billboard’s predictions, the single is set to sell over 500,000 digital copies in its first week of release.

This is pretty huge news, and if it does indeed sell as many copies as Billboard is predicting, then it could beat Adele’s record-breaking 2015 hit, Hello.

We couldn’t be more excited for Taylor in this new chapter of her life and career.
