Antifa Website Banned in Germany for Legitimizing Violence Against Police

Antifa banned in Germany

We just got word that Germany banned an “extremist” Antifa website and the reason given was that the respective website was legitimizing violence against cops. In case you’re not Mr. Current Affairs, you should take a look at this article: Antifa Cell Calls For Seizing Property, Violence Against Police.

This is Antifa U.S.-a new Philly cell, and it’s worth mentioning that more than three hundred thousand Americans already signed a petition which demands from the United States government to formally recognize Antifa to be a (domestic) terrorist organization.

Truth be told, some Antifa groups/cells are asking loud and clear for the overthrow of the US government, i.e. for a Marxist/Communist revolution in the USA. Even if the leftist mainstream media in America together with college professors continue to provide cover for Antifa “revolutionaries”, Germans are (amazingly) not as sympathetic with groups which call for violence against police officers. German authorities have banned recently the most influential/biggest Antifa website, following the incredible violence and mayhem that occurred during the G20 summit, which took place in Hamburg earlier in July.

A German newspaper (the Local) reports that Germany’s Interior Ministry Thomas de Maizière took an unprecedented move against violent left-wing extremism (read Antifa) on Friday, as he informed the owners of the website they’re being banned in Germany. According to German authorities, the website which is online since 2008 was seminal with regard to inciting violence in Hamburg, and they warned of serious consequences for people engaged in left wing radicalism.

As per a report via the failing New York Times , Thomas de Maizière said that the (now banned) Antifa website tried to legitimize violence against police officers and that the events during the G20 summit in Hamburg were not singular, i.e. that was not the only time when Antifa promoted violence and destroyed property during their protests organized on linksunten.indymedia.org (currently shut down completely).

The aforementioned website was described by German intel services as, let me quote:

the most important platform for violent left-wing extremism in Germany. For years it has been providing a forum for people to publish first-hand reports on left-wing crimes.”
