During a TV appearance on Tuesday, a Republican lawmaker finally called for a “purge” of the Department of Justice and the FBI, referring to Barack Obama-era deep state elements, which are still to be found in huge numbers within the two institutions. And bureaucracy makes policy.
During an interview interview with MSNBC host Hallie Jackson, Florida Rep. Francis Rooney has dropped a number of truth bombs:
“I’m very concerned that the DOJ and the FBI, whether you call it deep state or what, are off the rails. I don’t want to discredit them. I would like to see the directors of those agencies purge it. And say look, we’ve got a lot of great agents, a lot of great lawyers here, those are the people that I want the American people to see and know the good works being done, not these people who are kind of the deep state.”
Speaking of purging, let me remind you what that FBI guy Peter Strzok clearly said in the intercepted messages: that they had an insurance policy in the unlikely event that the American people elected a person for president that he did not want elected. Democrats are now debating what that insurance policy might be, as if that is of any relevance.
Regardless of what the respective insurance policy is/was – the issue at hand is that an FBI high official had one at all, and he was going to use it for the express purpose of disenfranchising the American public and overturning their choice for president. Now, why we are still debating this and why he was only “reassigned” instead of outright fired, is beyond me. Forget what he was trying to do to Trump- what he tried to do to the American voting public is definite treason and a coup against our democratic voting process by trying to remove a candidate that the people voted into office.
