While the left wing corporate mainstream media is still obsessing over the $100,000 worth of Facebook ads allegedly bought by Russian operatives in order to influence the 2016 presidential election,  The Hill just dropped a bombshell today, citing newly released FBI docs that prove the Obama administration was well aware of the Russians trying to get a foothold in the US’ atomic energy business via bribing State Department officials, extortion and money laundering schemes.

And guess what: the Russians managed to get twenty percent (20%) of the US’ uranium reserves anyway, courtesy of guess who. And then again, guess who received “beaucop donations” from the Russians via the Clinton Foundation? Yes, you got that right, it was Hillary, the former US First Female President. And Obama’s administration knew all about it and did nothing.

The whole bribery deal happened before Barry Obama’s administration sealed the highly controversial uranium deal back in 2010, a deal which gave Kremlin control over one fifth of America’s uranium. FBI had already gathered enough evidence that the Russians (industry officials et al) were engaged in kickbacks, bribery, money laundering and extortion, all designed to grow Moscow’s atomic energy business inside the US. All these claims are backed by interviews and government documents procured by FBI agents who used  United States witnesses/insiders that worked at the time in the Russian nuclear industry.

The insider (s) gathered tons of data, including financial records, intercepted emails and also made secret recordings from meetings from as early as 2009, showing among other things how Russian officials poured millions of dollars to former President Clinton’s charitable foundation during Hillary Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State in Barack Obama’s administration. And nota bene, at the exact same time, the government body whom she served provided a favorable decision for the Russians with regard with the uranium business.

And despite the intel provided by the FBI, Obama’s DOJ continued with the so-called investigation for four more years, instead of bringing immediate charges in 2010, basically leaving both the Congress and the American public in the dark about these issues. It’s worth mentioning that 2010 was a seminal year for the Obama administration with regard to US-Russia nuclear-relations. In 2010, the Hillary run State Department unanimously approved the partial sale of Uranium One (a Canadian mining company) to Rosatom (the state owned Russian giant), thus giving Kremlin 20% of America’s uranium reserves/supply.

Here’s former chair of  the House Intelligence Committee during the time the FBI probe was being conducted,  Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.):

“Not providing information on a corruption scheme before the Russian uranium deal was approved by U.S. regulators and engage appropriate congressional committees has served to undermine U.S. national security interests by the very people charged with protecting them. The Russian efforts to manipulate our American political enterprise is breathtaking.”

Speaking of Russians colluding with US politicians and the Trump-Putin conspiracy theory, how come it’s always Democrats accusing others of their own wrongdoings? And guess who was in charge of the FBI investigation into the Uranium-Russians plot? The probe begun (define irony) under Robert Mueller back in 2009, the same guy who is now investigating the Trump-Russia conspiracy theory, and ended under the tenure of former FBI director James Comey in 2015, the Clinton operative who was fired by the Donald.

Russian Purchase of US Uranium Assets in Return for $145mm in Contributions to the Clinton Foundation – Bill and Hillary Clinton assisted a Canadian financier, Frank Giustra, and his company, Uranium One, in the acquisition of uranium mining concessions in Kazakhstan and the United States.  Subsequently, the Russian government sought to purchase Uranium One but required approval from the Obama administration given the strategic importance of the uranium assets.  In the run-up to the approval of the deal by the State Department, nine shareholders of Uranium One just happened to make $145mm in donations to the Clinton Foundation.  Moreover, the New Yorker confirmed that Bill Clinton received $500,000 in speaking fees from a Russian investment bank, with ties to the Kremlin, around the same time.  Needless to say, the State Department approved the deal giving Russia ownership of 20% of U.S. uranium assets
