William Binney, a former NSA executive and legendary whistle-blower, the architect of NSA’s global surveillance system and basically an icon in the intelligence community confirmed for Fox News that President Donald Trump was absolutely correct when he claimed that he was monitored and wiretapped.
Binney was the mastermind behind NSA’s massive surveillance program with regard to digital communications and he served for more than thirty years as a senior technical director in the agency. This guy worked for the National Security Agency for 36 years and he had 6000 employees under his command, being regarded as a legend by his own colleagues, i.e. the best-ever code breaker and analyst the NSA ever had.
William Binney predicted Soviet invasions, mapped up the enemy’s command and control structure and he also decrypted their communications, thus providing the United States with real time intelligence of all Soviet communications, troop movements and so on and so forth.
He resigned from the NSA in 2001 in the aftermath of 9/11, as he did not like the United States new approach when it comes to matters of intelligence following the terrorist attacks. William Binney became a whistle blower after he discovered that elements of the data monitoring systems he helped created were used by the US government for spying on American people.
And getting back to our news story, Binney supports President Trump’s claims on social media over the past weekend about former President Obama tapping his phones/communications during the 2016 campaign.
“I think the president is absolutely right. His phone calls, everything he did electronically, was being monitored
Everyone’s conversations are being monitored and stored
William Binney also told Sean Hannity earlier on Monday that he regards the FISA courts as kangaroo-rubber stamp courts which are basically irrelevant, as the laws under which they fall are simply out there for show:
“trying to show that the government is following the law, and being looked at and overseen by the Senate and House intelligence committees and the courts.”
as the judges in these courts, let me quote William Binney again:
” are not even concerned, nor are they involved in any way with the Executive Order 12333 collection. That’s all done outside of the courts. And outside of the Congress.”
The evidence of the conversation of the president of the U.S., President Trump, and the [prime minister] of Australia and the president of Mexico. Releasing those conversations. Those are conversations that are picked up by the FAIRVIEW program, primarily, by NSA.
