A group of 6 DEM House members introduced on Wednesday five of articles of impeachment against the POTUS, claiming that Donald Trump has violated everything and anything, ranging from the public trust to federal law and, as a logical consequence, he should be charged with high crimes and misdemeanors. Impeach 45, here we come!
Democratic Representatives Luis Gutierrez of Illinois, Adriano Espaillat of New York, Al Green of Texas and Steve Cohen of Tennessee introduced their 5 articles of impeachment during a presser on Wednesday at the Capitol. There were also 2 co-sponsors: Representatives John Yarmuth of Kentucky and Marcia Fudge of Ohio. The list of charges against President Trump is as long as my arm: violation of the Constitution’s foreign emoluments clause, obstruction of justice (firing FBI director Comey that is), a violation of the Constitution’s domestic emoluments clause, undermining the press (goes to Twitter and fake news) and undermining the federal judiciary process.

The main problem in Democrats’ view is with the POTUS terminating James Comey’s tenure as FBI director and the alleged conflicts of interest with the Donald Trump’s properties/businesses as he serves as POTUS.
You gotta be kidding me, right? A Cabal inside of Article 1 body doesn’t know about the powers of the Article 2 executive and introduces Impeachment on supposed crimes that involve executive powers IN the Constitution. It has been said that Democrats do not like the Constitution. Now we know that they’ve never read it.
These articles are going precisely nowhere. The Democrats just don’t have the numbers. They would have to get nearly 20 Republican Senators to vote for conviction. Heck, they don’t have enough Democrats on the House Committee on the Judiciary to get the articles out of Committee. After that they would need to get a simple majority in the House, and that’s not going to happen (240 vs. 194), and I’ve already mentioned the challenge in the Senate.
In other words it’s practically an impossibility that Trump would be impeached, much less convicted. This is just BS street theater for the Democrats. It’s time to put the gun down, take a deep breath, and let it go. No one is going any where.
