Despite DOJ Warning, President Trump Requests AG Sessions to Release FISA Memo

President Trump Requests AG Sessions to Release FISA Memo

President Trump asked for the release of the now-famous 4-page “FISA memo” which is claimed to summarize the widespread surveillance abuses by the DOJ and the FBI during former president Obama’s administration, thus breaking with his Department of Justice’s policy, which described the release of the classified memo by GOP congressmen as being extraordinarily reckless, as the DOJ did not have the opportunity yet to review the respective memo which details basically criminal acts that took place before and after Trump got elected into office. However, the Congress will have the final word whether to release the memo or not.

The “Fisa Memo” was created by staffers for Rep. Devin Nunes, the House Intelligence Committee chairman, and it was “screened” in mid January in a “Secure Room” by Congressional House members. The officials who saw the top secret memo immediately called for it to be made available to the general public, as it was claimed to contain literally jaw dropping revelations of, let me quote:

extensive abuse of power and highly illegal collusion between the Obama administration, the FBI, the DOJ and the Clinton Campaign against Donald Trump and his team during and after the 2016 presidential election.

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) tweeted:

“I have read the memo. The sickening reality has set in. I no longer hold out hope there is an innocent explanation for the information the public has seen. I have long said it is worse than Watergate. It was #neverTrump & #alwaysHillary. #releasethememo.”

Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan told Fox News:

It is so alarming the American people have to see this. It’s troubling. It is shocking,”

North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows was quoted as saying:

Part of me wishes that I didn’t read it because I don’t want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much.

The House Intelligence Committee already scheduled a vote for tomorrow, Monday, to release the classified FISA memo. The vote will probably take place at 5 p.m. and the memo could be released as soon as tomorrow, thus opening the possibility for the POTUS to read it (or parts of it) during his State of the Union Address, as requested by many on social media.

If there is anyone on this planet, who has the testicular fortitude to read this four page Fisa Memo to the Nation, it is our President.
