Eerie Warning from Top Generals: ‘There’s a war coming’

us generals warn of war

Gen. Robert Neller who by the way is the commandant of the Marine Corps, has said to his troops stationed in Norway on Thursday to be prepared, as storm clouds are gathering and there’s a war coming:

“I hope I’m wrong, but there’s a war coming. You’re in a fight here, an informational fight, a political fight, by your presence. Just remember why you’re here. They’re watching. Just like you watch them, they watch you. We’ve got 300 Marines up here; we could go from 300 to 3,000 overnight. We could raise the bar.”

as reported by  Military.com. The general pointed to the Pacific theater and Russia as the next possible areas of military conflict. And that’s not all. Trump’s Defense Secretary James “Mag Dog” Mattis also told a group of airmen and sailors stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina to be ready for a shooting war with North Korea, provided diplomacy fails, according to an Associated Press report.

Mattis warned about a war with Pyongyang as he was delivering a speech at the 82nd Airborne Division’s Hall of Heroes Friday:

My fine young soldiers, the only way our diplomats can speak with authority and be believed is if you’re ready to go. Knowing what went wrong the last time around is as important as knowing your own testing, so that you’re forewarned – you know what I’m driving at here. So you gotta be ready.”

So, what we’re dealing with here is yet another war in some part of the world started by the United States? To make America great again, when Trump promised his supporters he wouldn’t pursue an aggressive foreign policy? The counter-argument to the war-mongering rhetoric would be that the military always believes a war is coning and is getting ready. To do anything less would be a dereliction of duty. 2018 will definitely be a very interesting year, stay tuned.
