That crazy fat kid (to use Senator McCain’s parlance) just upped the ante in the diplomatic/rhetorical war between the United States and the hermit kingdom by saying that Donald Trump is just bluffing over war threats. What do you know, maybe the little guy is right after all. The Pyongyang regime has said that despite the bellicose rhetoric and school yard posturing, the United States is not ready for a full scale war with the glorious North Korean army and its 1960’s era equipment.
To quote from an article published by a state owned/state controlled paper (DPRK’s Rodong Sinmun):
“The U.S. is crying out for mounting a military attack on the DPRK, terming its steps for bolstering the capability for self-defence a ‘threat to the world’ in a bid to escalate international sanctions and pressure on it,”
“This is just a ridiculous bluffing of those taken aback by the invincible might of the DPRK.
“The DPRK remains unfazed by the desperate moves of the US to stifle it.”
The article appeared in the nick of the time, i..e just as military forces from Australia and the United States are preparing to conduct a huge joint exercise in beach landings, on a scale never seen since War World 2. The beach landing drills will take place in Australia’s north Queensland and they’re part of TS17 also known as Operation Talisman Sabre. TS 17 is the largest-ever military joint-exercise between Aussie defense forces and the US military. However, Kim Jong-un’s regime treats it like a big joke, brazenly describing it as being nothing more than posturing and a useless show of force.
“It is a manifestation of stupidity that the US works hard to check the victorious advance of the service personnel and people of the DPRK,”
“The US is gravely mistaken if it arrogantly thinks that even a single shell should never be dropped on its mainland while carpet-bombing other countries.”
Let’s close with Mike Tyson’s famous words: everybody’s got a plan ’till they got punched in the nose!
