Yvette Felarca is a militant left wing operative and professional agitator, that when she’s not a school teacher in the Berkeley area. Yvette Felarca first made headlines as she was behind organizing the Berkeley riot in February of 2017 and more recently, via her recent claims that violence against fascists (whom she wrongly describes as far right) is “not a crime”.
Yvette Felarca is said to belong to a left wing agitprop group, namely “BAMN”(by any means necessary) and she’s currently facing assault charges. Unfortunately for her, the militant school teacher was caught on video while she was beating up a “white supremacist” during a rally in Sacramento, Ohio earlier in July 2017.
Yvette Felarca and her ilk engaged in brutal clashes with Traditional Worker’s Party members who were marching in the city peacefully. By the way, they had a permit, i.e. that was a lawful rally. As usual, after the left wing agitators crashed the “party”, violence ensued between the two groups, resulting in multiple stabbings and assaults. Felarca (a school-teacher mind you) was charged by police in July 2017 with “assault by means of force likely to inflict great bodily injury, participating in a riot, and inciting a riot.” Felarca described her actions as self defense, which means she does not consider violence against “far right” to be a crime, as she’s fighting on the good side of history against “fascists”. Yvette Felarca was quoted as saying:
“Standing up against fascism and the rise of Nazism and fascism in this country is not a crime. We have the right to defend ourselves.”
During an interview for Al Jazeera, Felarca claimed that the lawful march of the Traditional Worker’s Party was in reality, let me quote her again:
“organizing to attack and kill us. So we have a right to self-defense. […] That is why we have to shut them down by any means necessary.”
