Well, it didn’t take long for London’s first Muslim mayor to have a bro-romance with President Trump. In an apparent critique, Sadiq Khan has said that President Trump’s rhetoric, which correctly depicts a clash of civilizations (Islam vs Western values) reminds him of ISIS and that’s basically a declaration of love, coming from the guy who vigorously defended (convicted) Islamic terrorists and who said in the past that terrorism is part and parcel of living in a big city, i.e. he’s okay with Islamic terrorism, though he never uses that word.
Kidding aside, Sadiq Khan attended a Labor Party conference in Brighton and he was quoted as saying to The Guardian:
“They say that there is a clash of civilizations, it is not possible to be a Muslim and a westerner, and the West hates us. And you are inadvertently playing their game, you are helping them.”

The ISIS style language Khan is referring to is President Trump’s calling for a complete shutdown of US borders to Muslim immigrants until a comprehensive vetting process is put into place. And obviously, Khan claims that President Trump’s travel ban gave the people in the world the wrong impression of Islam. But what about ISIS (Islamic State) and the countless Islamic terrorist attacks which became the norm in Western Europe after EU’s suicidal open-borders policies? I suppose pretending all the terrorists attacks aren’t happening in your city (London saw at least 3 major Islamic terrorist attacks in 2017 alone) makes them magically go away.
