If you are a snowflake reading this, prepare yourself, as you’re about to get triggered big-time: a US company has introduced what has been described as a snowflake-test, i.e. a scientific method aimed at weeding out, well, snowflakes. What’s a snowflake, you may ask?
Snowflake is a term given to self-entitled millennials who cry, whine and throw the most ridiculous of hissy fits when they don’t get their own way or are confronted by an opinion or worldview that runs contrary to their own. They are unable to understand that an opinion that does not sit comfortably within their worldview is not just a different opinion but an opinion that assaults their liberal sensibilities. Different opinions are seen as ‘attacks’ by sensitive snowflakes… this is actually something to be very concerned about, because their ability to achieve growth and development as human beings and to understand that the world is actually very diverse and even quite unpleasant will impede them in far reaching ways, so much so, that they will be fit for pretty much nothing when they decide to actually grow up.

To make a long story short, the snowflake test will expose those potential candidates who are easily offended and overly sensitive, or liberals in not so many words. The company’s CEO is a conservative who will not hire someone who doesn’t believe in the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. For example, if you’re not proud to be an American, even if you live in the greatest country in the world’s history, or you don’t support free speech and the right to bear arms, you need not apply.
The snowflake tests contains questions like “What does America mean to you?” and, very funny, “When was the last time you cried and why?”. The test is set to determine a potential candidate’s view on guns, police and the American way of life, from a conservative’s point of view obviously.
A candidate who is not proud to be an American has zero chances of getting hired at Silent Partner Marketing. Mr Reyes, who is the company’s CEO told Fox News:
“A snowflake is somebody who is going to whine and complain and come to the table with nothing but an entitled attitude and an inability to back their perspective.
We use the test to weed out the sort of people who were inundating us with resumés and didn’t even know what we did.”
According to Reyes, his approach has been very successful, as 60% of the candidates drop out instantly when they hear about the test. In a YouTube video promoting his company, Reyes warns millennials and drops a number of truth-bombs:
“You’re young, you’re ignorant, you’re brainwashed by liberal professors who didn’t tell you that in the real world, the only “safe space” is in your parents’ basement.”
The snowflake test has become very popular in the industry as per Reyes’ claim, because employers and employees alike are getting sick and tired of political correctness. When asked about potential discrimination lawsuits, Reyes retorted that the snowflake test is nothing more than a glorified personality test and obviously, employers have a right to choose who is going to work for them.
