With the tragedy almost over, the farce begins once again and Barack Obama in his last days in office chose to taunt President Elect Donald J. Trump by saying in a CNN interview that, let me quote:
I would have beat Trump!
This kind of childish taunt from a rather sober president must be taken at face value, considering that what we’re dealing with here is a conjecture which can never be tested in real life, hence it’s futile.
The same type of “argument” can be formulated as it follows: “Could Bruce Lee beat Fedor Emelianenko in the UFC?” Well, we’ll never know for sure, it’s just Fedor is too modest and humble to take a swing at the deceased King of Martial Arts.
Now, getting back to our story, the answer from The Donald was predictable, i.e. Trump mocked Obama’s allegations that he could have beat him in a theoretical presidential race, citing the epic failure of Obamacare, the huge loss of jobs in Barack’s two terms as POTUS and the rise of ISIS.
Obviously, The Donald carped on Twitter about these issues, whilst Barack, as a lame duck president, told CNN that his vision about America was sabotaged by the Republican Party. According to Obama, the GoP rejected his vision and furthermore, they threw sand in the gears of progress, whatever that means.
Also, Obama promised to keep quiet for a while, i.e. after he leaves the White House, but not politically. According to various political analysts, Obama is preparing for a cozy position at the UN after he leaves office, maybe even as the head of the United Nations, but we’ll just have to wait and see about that.
Donald Trump also blasted the United Nations after their anti Israel vote, which may have been vetoed by the Obama administration, yet the still president chose not to.
Let me quote Donald Trump via Twitter:
‘President Obama said that he thinks he would have won against me. He should say that but I say NO WAY! – jobs leaving, ISIS, OCare, etc.’
‘The United Nations has such great potential but right now it is just a club for people to get together, talk and have a good time. So sad!’
