President Trump is currently preparing for a ten day trip to Asia, yet he paid a little visit to Hawaii prior to his departure. During the visit, the POTUS held a presser and told the media about his disappointment with the Department of Justice and his Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
As President Trump was taking questions from the mainstream media, one of the reporters asked him about his one meeting with that strange guy, the so called foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos from last year. Mind you, George Papadopoulos was a volunteer, i.e. he wasn’t paid by the Trump campaign, he did not have a security clearance and he was basically a nobody. George Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI and he’s now investigated by special counsel Robert Mueller in the alleged Trump Campaign- Russian collusion conspiracy theory.
President Trump said he doesn’t recall much from the meeting with George Papadopoulos for the umpteenth time, then he took the question, spun it then masterfully threw the ball into the DEM’s court:
All I can tell you is there is no collusion. It’s a disgrace. You want to look at Hillary Clinton and you want to look at the new book that was just put out by Donna Brazile where she basically bought the DNC and she stole the election from Bernie. So that’s what you ought to take a look at… I’m really not involved with the Justice Department. I like to let it run itself but honestly they should be looking at the Democrats. They should be looking at Podesta and all of that dishonesty. They should be looking at a lot of things. And a lot of people are disappointed at the Justice Department including me.
I bet he did that because he knows the liberal mainstream media refuses to report on the Hillary/DEMs corruption, so he made sure to bring it up.
It seems like the President is sending a strong message and that Sessions’ days are numbered. Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch has pointed out and agrees with President Trump that Sessions’ DOJ defends Hillary Clinton in case after case vs. Judicial Watch. Such a disappointment.
I’ve never seen anybody recuse himself this much and still get paid. Rosenstein is basically unchecked and the de-facto AG. I just read yesterday that Rosenstein’s wife works or did work for a firm that basically is a Clinton firm, and she has represented the FBI five times.
Hence the DOJ and the FBI are much worse than they appear on the surface. This isn’t going to be easy to fix, especially with the Senate GOP telling Trump if he fires Sessions, they won’t confirm another AG appointee.
