President Trump Goes on Twitter, Rips Fake-News-Media a New One for Demeaning Tax Bill

trump blasts fake news democrat media

The Republican dominated Senate voted last night on one of President Trump’s most important campaign promises: the now famous tax cut bill, which equates with what has been described as a monumental tax reform, the most important in thirty years or something along these lines. However, the Donald was not pleased by the corporate left-wing mainstream media’s coverage of the historical event, but here’s the POTUS’ own words on Twitter:

Here’s how the mainstream media is treating this president, and I am not joking either:

White House release : President Trump has cured cancer.
MSM release : President Trump destroyed the cancer medical industry, millions to die in the streets.

The tax cut bill passed through the Senate in a midnight showdown on Tuesday, with 51 votes vs 48. REP Senator John McCain was absent due to health issues. Earlier on Tuesday, the House passed the tax reform bill on a 227 vs 203 vote. Just imagine what this president could do with a little help from Congress and an honest press, instead of getting 92 percent negative media coverage, while still boasting a 40% approval rating.

With regard to the tax bill, some complained that the new tax cuts for the middle class are temporary, while tax cuts “for the rich” (don’t you just love the marxist jargon?) are permanent. There are 2 things to remember:

  1. 10 years of tax cuts vs no tax cuts? Which would you take if you are living pay check to pay check?
  2. The ten years is a statutory limitation imposed by a standing Senate rule that limits passage of bills by a simple majority to ten years if they have a scored impact on the deficit. I.e., it’s not an evil conspiracy to submarine the middle class.

Also, 10% of income earners pay 70% of all federal income tax, while 47% of income earners pay no federal tax. So there you have it. Merry Christmas.
