Following the terrorist attack on the London Tube on Friday morning, President Trump went on to Twitter and, as usual, anger and outrage followed (to no one’s surprise):

Just as a quick reminder, a bucket-bomb was detonated this morning in London inside a tube (that’s the British word for metro) carriage, leaving 22 people injured, some of them with severe burns. Fortunately, the bomb failed to detonate properly, hence there were no deaths. Following the terrorist incident, President Trump branded the attackers as being losers and called for the UK government to be more proactive, claiming that UK’s intelligence services had prior knowledge about the attacker, again, as usual, yet they failed to stop him.

According to Bloomberg, UK’s Prime Minister Theresa May’s (who by the way has said that “enough is enough” with regard to Islamic terrorism 5 terrorist attacks ago and nothing changed, obviously) former chief of staff was outraged over President Trump’s tweets, presumably due to the fact the respective tweets emphasized Scotland Yard’s incompetence, not to mention that calling terrorists losers is not appropriate in multicultural societies.

Other British so-called conservative luminaries were quick to follow in bashing Trump:

Finally, UK”s prime minister Theresa May took a shot at the POTUS by stating that:

“I never think it’s helpful for anybody to speculate on what is an ongoing investigation.”

The thing is, we don’t know yet if the President’s comments with regard to the Parsons Green terrorist attack were based on a Fox News report or he was briefed on the matter by the US’ intelligence community, but it’s better to shoot first and ask questions later, right?
