Sacramento’s Advance Peace Program Will Pay Gang Bangers If They Stop Killing People

sacramento to pay gang bangers

Have you ever heard that saying “crime does not pay”? Well, it seems like Sacramento’s City Council took that literally, and if you think this is a satirical article courtesy of The Onion, think again. Fox 40 Sacramento reports that the City Council just approved the Advance Peace Program with a 9-0 vote, so this is as real as it gets.

Only in liberal California gang bangers can expect to receive a form of welfare of sorts courtesy of taxpayer’s money, i.e. cash stipends to gang members under the condition they remain peaceful, whatever that means in real life. The new program was voted into law following a number of gang related shootings. On Tuesday, the Sacramento City Council decided to put the foot down and instead of taking criminals off the streets and upholding the laws, they are now trying to bring peace to the city by paying off criminals. What can go wrong, right?

The hugely controversial program, which is basically a form of bribing criminals hoping they’re stop breaking the law is aimed at saving innocent lives and it targets key gang members by paying them with taxpayer’s money, provided they remain peaceful and graduate school.

A similar program is claimed to have produced positive effects in Richmond. However, if you look throughout history, the policies of appeasement have never worked, hence why don’t give it another shot, right? I mean, taking money from law abiding and peaceful citizens and redistributing them to criminal/murderous thugs sounds like a great idea, that if you’re a liberal.

Truth be told, such an advanced program could have manifested itself only on the pathologically progressive and tolerant East Coast. Following the same logic, maybe we can get rid of North Korea and ISIS just by sending them lots of taxpayer’s money instead of fighting wars abroad, just like dear leader Barry did with Iran, that worked like a charm.
