Champagne socialist Bernie Sanders blasted the FBI on Tuesday, calling the bureau’s investigation into his wife finances as a pathetic attack. The Vermont Senator finally broke his silence on the Bureau’s inquiry into Jane Sanders. Sanders claims that the FBI probe is politically motivated. Let’s see what he had to say on CNN’s Out Front show on Tuesday:
“My wife is about the most honest person I know,All that I will tell you now is it’s a sad state of affairs in America when not only we have politicians being destroyed… but when you go after people’s wives. That’s pretty pathetic.”
“That’s all I’m going to say. I think it’s fairly pathetic that when people are involved in public life not only do they get attacked, but their wives and their families get attacked”
The FBI investigation is looking into whether Jane Sanders committed fraud while she was seeking a re-financing worth 10 million dollars for a college related real estate deal, the Burlington College respectively, a small Vermont-based liberal arts school that (predictably) went bankrupt under Jane Sanders supervision and it was finally closed in May of 2016.
Claiming Republicans want to kill millions of people right after your campaign worker shoots some of them? Totally cool.
Investigating a woman who ran a school into the ground so badly it failed, while simultaneously buying a third waterfront property? HORRIBLE BECAUSE WOMEN ARE OFF LIMITS.
Also, notice he didn’t say she was innocent. She should just be let off because she’s his wife.If the man on the street did what Jane did, there would not be an investigation. One would be arrested immediately.
