“On a white limousine, in a spirit of unity, they came to support their best ally in France,” Femen wrote. The caption for each photo contains caustic quotes supposedly on behalf of politicians who, in the opinion of the controversial movement, could illustrate their support for Le Pen.”
Published Femen on their Twitter account, along with the images of the leaders of several states, including the presidents of the United States, Russia and Syria.
The photos feature Femen topless activists wearing rubber masks. Also the ladies “dressed up” as the father Marine, Jean-Marie Le Pen, and in the former head of the UK Independence Party (UKIP), Nigel Farage.
Marine Le Pen, the candidate of Front National, cast her ballot earlier today in in Henin-Beaumont commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in northern France.
This is not the first time Femen activists sparked controversy. Several topless women attempted to disrupt Marine Le Pen campaign speech at a rally in one of the Parisian suburbs.
Femen later took responsibility for the event. According to them, the reason behind the incident was that Le Pen tries to portray herself as a ‘false feminist’.
