This is not a joke, unfortunately, but the far-left in action. The ACLU complained on Tuesday night about President Trump’s State of the Union Speech, and the reason is surrealistic. The issue with the progressives at ACLU was that the word ‘America’ was used more than eighty times in the POTUS’ speech. This symbolizes everything that’s wrong with the left in the US. They really hate this country, there’s no other way to put it, there’s no other reasonable explanation for their actions. Here’s from the America Civil Liberties Union’s complaint:
“Tonight, President Trump said the word ‘America’ more than 80 times in his speech. Yet, after a divisive first year, we hear and feel how exclusionary that ‘America’ is, with policies that have harmed so many vulnerable American communities”
dixit a dude named Faiz Shakir, ACLU’s national policy director via a written statement. He continued:
“The ACLU stands ready to protect these communities, both in the courts and at the polls.”In particular, the immigration plan put forth by Trump would hold Dreamers hostage to his demands for a harmful border wall and an even larger mass deportation force. We are at this crossroads because of the President’s deeply destructive ideas fomented by his nativist allies and divisive rhetoric. We will continue to stand up for these young immigrants and ensure they continue to contribute to our country. We cannot let America’s Dreamers be deported.”
This guy really has problems with understanding English language, and judging from his name, English is probably not his mother tongue. The POTUS emphasized last night once again for the whole country to hear that he’s against ILLEGAL immigration, not against immigration per se. It’s also very telling that for the left, the word America is seen as being xenophobic and racist. Another example of the left’s hatred for America comes from MSNBC’s Joy Reid, who was triggered by the words used by President Trump during his SOTU address, very normal words if you’re not a radical Marxist that wants to see this country destroyed I might add:
Church … family … police … military … the national anthem … Trump trying to call on all the tropes of 1950s-era nationalism. The goal of this speech appears to be to force the normalization of Trump on the terms of the bygone era his supporters are nostalgic for. #SOTU

These are words frequently used by President Trump last night, and they reflect American culture and common sense values.
Word cloud from President Trump’s #SOTU address.
