Trump Right Again: House Intel Chairman Nunes Confirms Surveillance Of Trump During Obama Administration

President Donald Trump was right again as according to House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes, his communications may have been “monitored” incidentally during the transition period.

During a press news conference on Wednesday, Mr. Nunes said that the intercepted communications were not related to FBI’s investigation into President Trump’s staff alleged contacts with Russia and they appeared to have been collected incidentally, i.e. picked up by mistake.

Devin Nunes also told the press that he personally thinks the surveillance was made legally, but that somehow contradicts his allegations that the surveillance/monitoring/wiretapping or whatchamacallit was made incidentally after all.

The House Intelligence Chairman told reporters:

“I recently confirmed that on numerous occasions the intelligence community incidentally collected information about U.S. citizens involved in the Trump transition. Details about U.S. persons associated with the incoming administration details with little or no apparent foreign intelligence value were widely disseminated in intelligence community reporting.

Third, I have confirmed that additional names of Trump transition team members were unmasked.

And fourth and finally I want to be clear, none of this surveillance was related to Russia or the investigation of Russian activities or of the Trump team.”

He also said that the incidentally collected intel had nothing to do with the alleged Russia ties and the wiretapping (to use Trump’s parlance) occurred AFTER November 8th.

It is unclear if the information was “collected” via monitoring Trump’s campaign communications in the Trump Tower, but what Nunes said basically confirms that President Trump and his campaign staff/transition team were wiretapped between Election Day and Inauguration Day, i.e. while Obama was still in office.

And I’ve saved the best for last, check out the video embedded in the tweet:

REPORTER: “Do you believe the President appropriately used the word ‘wiretapping?’ Was it used correctly in his tweets, based on the information that you have seen?”
NUNES: “I think the wiretapping, if you use it generally like the President has said, he clearly used it differently than what I think a lot of people took it which was did Obama actually wiretap the Trump Tower, which we know didn’t happen. I think the President has been pretty clear on that.”
REPORTER: “But the physical act of the wiretapping, do you see anything —“
NUNES: “No, and I said that on day two.”
REPORTER: “Can you rule out the possibility that senior Obama Administration officials were involved in this?”
NUNES: “No, I cannot.”

House Intel Chair, David Nunes finally revealed to the world that Trump was indeed wiretapped from the day of the election to inauguration.

The mainstream media wants us to believe that “they” never wiretapped Donald Trump, yet at the same time Comey admits there was an active investigation on Trump’s team for connections to Russia since last summer.

This would make for a world premiere, i.e. those who were under FBI investigation were not wiretapped/monitored, i.e. those under investigation aren’t under surveillance.

Nunes also told reporters that there are multiple FISA warrants outstanding against President Trump and FBI is not cooperating with House Intel’s investigation into Trump Camp surveillance:

“We don’t actually know yet officially what happened to General Flynn. We just know that his name leaked out but we don’t know how it was picked up yet. That was one of the things that we asked for in the March 15th letter, was for the NSA, CIA, and FBI to get us all the unmasking that was done.”

And I’ll tell you, NSA is being cooperative but so far the FBI has not told us whether or not they’re going to respond to our March 15th letter, which is now a couple of weeks old.”
