After Friday’s rumor spread by Democratic Congresswoman Jackie Speier about President Trump contemplating a shut-down of Mueller’s Russia investigation right before Christmas, the left went berserk. Jackie Speier claimed during an interview with KQED Newsroom that the POTUS will fire Robert Mueller soon, thus putting the kibosh on the never-ending investigation in the so-called collusion-Russia interference or whatever, that allegedly took place during the 2016 election cycle :
“Well, we can read between the lines, I think there is a rush to try and shut this committee investigation down. The rumor on the Hill when I left yesterday was that the president was going to make a significant speech at the end of next week. And on December 22nd, when we are out of D.C., he was going to fire…Robert Mueller.”
Watch the video, it’s delicious. However, White House Special Counsel Ty Cobb has said that the rumor about Mueller’s demise was grossly exaggerated, being basically fake news:
“As the White House has said for months, there is no consideration being given to firing the Special Counsel”
Even if the POTUS kept a strange radio-silence last week with regard to Robert Mueller’s investigation, i.e. he made no public comments about him, the DEMs are nervous and hence the speculation that the Donald will try to shut down special counsel’s probe before Christmas, in the wake of the revelations about the politically charged anti Trump text messages that were discovered earlier this week. The logical question is this: why fire Mueller when his “investigation” is in the process of collapsing under the weight of its own corruption? He’s got zero credibility. He’s imploding faster than Hillary.
This is just another fake-news story, i.e. rumors being spread as facts by the Left. Mueller already discredited his investigation, as he’s in legal conflict of interest; his team of Clinton donors are investigating the man that beat her, hence the entire investigation is a joke; it’s akin to a cop dropping a bag of crack in your car and charging you with drug dealing.
