Will Speaker Ryan Survive Health Bill Failure?

In what has been widely described by mainstream media outlets as a stunning defeat and a catastrophe for the Republicans and even Donald Trump, the President pulled the American Health Care bill after, as predicted by Rand Paul and others, it came up short on votes.

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan said during a press conference on Friday in the aftermath of his epic failure (because Paul Ryan owns this, there’s no doubt about it) that Obamacare is the law of the land and it’s going to stay in place until repealed/replaced. Speaking of truisms, this one is as good as it gets.

Ryan seemed to be very nervous during his news conference and that’s pretty amazing, considering that he had like what, 8 years to come up with a viable piece of legislation for replacing Obamacare. Here’s what he said:

“I don’t know what else to say other than Obamacare is the law of the land. It’s going to remain the law of the land until it’s replaced. We did not have quite the votes to replace this law uh and so yeah we’re gonna be living with Obamacare for the foreseeable future .

I don’t know how long it’s gonna take us to replace this law. My worry is um Obamacare is going to be getting even worse….”

In this writer’s opinion, RINOs including Paul Ryan are now toast and the Affordable Care Act also known as Obamacare will now be left in place, and it will soon die by its own discrepancies and idiosyncrasies, collapsing under its own weight,  just like President Trump said times and times again: Obamacare is collapsing on its own, all we have to do is watch and wait, but that’s not good for the American people.

Another thing to consider is this: if Ryan’s plan to repeal the ACA with a soft version, i.e. Obamacare Lite/2.0, would have succeeded and I mean if the Democrats who own Obamacare (which was a disaster to quote the Donald) would have been let off the hook, the equally miserable replacement pedaled by Paul Ryan and his fellow RINOs would have made for Donald Trump’s legacy, i.e. an epic failure.

Regardless of what the MSM would like you to think, I believe that President Trump played his hand perfectly this time, as he  made the RINOS look like fools, exposing them as the establishment and he will end up stronger, while the RINOs and Paul Ryan who was a Never-Trumper from day one will pay for their failures.

Who do you think the new House Speaker will be?
