WSJ Pedals Fake News Story about Mike Flynn Offer to Testify in Exchange for Immunity

According to a Thursday story from the Wall Street Journal, Mike Flynn is now offering to testify in front of the US Congress in exchange for immunity.

That’s approximately the title from the WSJ article which depicts how former national sec. adviser Mike Flynn has offered to cooperate with the House and Senate intel committees and the FBI regarding the investigation of President Trump’s campaign alleged ties to Russia.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Mike Flynn is now ready to be interviewed provided he’s granted with immunity from prosecution.

The offer was made to the House and Senate intel committees and the FBI through his lawyer, Robert Kelner, who said:

General Flynn certainly has a story to tell, and he very much wants to tell it, should the circumstances permit,

Representatives for the Senate Intelligence Committee and the Federal Bureau of Investigations declined to comment so far. But the crux of the story is this: the Wall Street Journal is lying, as their story is a piece of fake news at its best.

Here’s the letter from Mike Flynn’s attorney Robert Kelner. If you read it carefully, there’s absolutely no mention of Mike Flynn asking for immunity. The letter reads:

“No reasonable person, who has the benefit of advice from counsel, would submit to questioning in such a highly politicized, witch-hunt environment without assurances against unfair prosecution,”

So it’s protection from “unfair prosecution,” not “immunity.”

“Immunity has not been discussed.”

Surprise, surprise, the mainstream media is publishing fake news YET AGAIN. Sad.
