Year of Trump: Stocks Close at Record on Election Anniversary, Snowflakes Scream at the Sky to Mark the Moment

While some of the most disturbed representatives of the American left gathered to helplessly scream at the sky in no less than 25 cities in protest of President Trump’s election anniversary, the US stocks close at record yet again.

Here’s from the Market Watch:

The S&P 500 SPX, +0.14% rose 3 points, or 0.1%, to 2,594 while the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.03% gained 6 points to 23,563. The Nasdaq Composite Index COMP, +0.32%added 21 points, or 0.3%, to 6,789.

While investors are looking forward to President Trump’s promised and highly expected tax reform legislation, all three US stocks benchmarks were pushed into record territory. Not everybody was happy though with the Donald’s first year in the White House.

The scream-thing begun with a now-famous video of a woman howling at Donald’s inauguration ceremony, thus capturing the existential dread of the American snowflakes:

The first year of the Trump era was celebrated by thousands of progressives across the nation via a Scream helplessly at the Sky on the Anniversary of the Election” happening. The motives behind the scream-fest are not very clear, yet about 15,000 screamers gathered in De Blasio’s Big Apple on Wednesday. It seems like the main reason for protesting Trump was about the POTUS’ measures against illegal immigration. Here’s a video via Twitter:
