YouTube Alternative Media Is Red-Pilling a Generation Claims Julian Assange

According to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, the YouTube commentators are now playing the role of parents, education system and mass media altogether, as they’re basically red-pilling (as in educating) a generation. Julian Assange made these interesting claims via a series of tweets, arguing that an entirely new generation (millennials plus generation Z combined maybe?) is now getting its political and social education from mostly right-leaning YouTube stars like Stefan Molyneux, Paul Joseph Watson or the libertarian commentator Styxhexenhammer666 to name just a few.

During a series of tweets, Mr. Assange discussed with his followers about the impact left wingers have on youngsters on social media (like YouTube) compared to right-wingers and libertarians. Wikileaks founder made it very clear that the right/the conservatives are winning the war for the hearts and minds of the new generation.

The Twitter-argument was provoked by one of Assange’s earlier tweets which reads:

The fact that the Right is dominating social-media and especially YouTube was acknowledged by various mainstream media outlets, like Vice or the failing New York Times. The political, social, geographical, historical education the young are getting from this epic global upheaval is exponential and maybe that’s the reason for which Silicon Valley (that is leaning left heavily) is trying to suppress dissent on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter via censoring, demonetizing videos, deplatforming or outright banning users.
