YouTube Sued Over Discriminating Against White and Asian Males

Google owned YouTube was slapped with a lawsuit which claims that the company is actively discriminating against white and Asian males. The lawsuit was filed by a former YouTube human-resources recruiter, who says that the company stopped hiring white/Asian males at some point in 2017, in order to improve employee “diversity” rankings, or something along these lines. You see, in the brave new world which dawns upon us, it doesn’t matter what skills/personality/moral values you have, but the color of your skin/race and/or your gender, and that’s called diversity. In reality, this is pure racism.

The lawsuit against YouTube was filed by Google’s former employee Arne Wilberg, who for the past four years worked at YouTube as a HR recruiter. Arne Wilberg says that Google set quotas at the companies, which require a certain number of “minorities” to be hired, which resulted in discrimination against Asian and white male employees. Wilberg also says that YouTube human resources employees were instructed to cancel interviews if the applicant was not black/Hispanic or female. The applications that did not fit Google’s diversity criteria based on race and gender were purged entirely. A Google spokesperson has said about the lawsuit:

We have a clear policy to hire candidates based on their merit, not their identity. At the same time, we unapologetically try to find a diverse pool of qualified candidates for open roles, as this helps us hire the best people, improve our culture, and build better products.”

Doesn’t this statement sort of contradict itself? If you ask me, it’s a word game. They ‘hire’ based on merit. They ‘recruit’ based on diversity.

Prior to him getting fired in November of 2017, Arne Wilberg filed complaints about YouTube’s hiring process to managers at both  YouTube and Google, about what he describes as “diversity trackers”, which required human resources recruiters to keep track of the number of “minorities” hired, which were selected from an underrepresented group. Always remember folks: if anyone wants a job with YouTube or Google, just lie on the application and do an Elizabeth Warren (Pocahontas!).
