I already know what you’re thinking: here comes another crackpot who watched all the seasons of the X-Files and now believes aliens are among us and there’s a huge government conspiracy trying to hide the truth and all that jazz. The thing is, what we’re dealing with here is a very rich guy, a billionaire space-mogul who has contracts with NASA, not with Hollywood. And this guy is absolutely convinced there are “aliens” (as in extra-terrestrials, not illegal aliens from Mexico) living on Earth. Think “They Live”, an excellent movie from the 80’s and you’ll see what I am talking about.
Robert Bigelow, because this is the guy who claims he knows for a fact about an alien presence on Earth, owns an aerospace company which has developed/built/sold state of the art gear to NASA, inflatable habitats more exactly.
During a very recent interview with CBS’ 60 minutes, Robert Bigelow was asked about his opinion on extraterrestrial intelligent life. One may argue that terrestrial intelligent life is a pretty rare occurrence nowadays, especially among the left, but let that go. Well, Robert answered with jaw dropping candor. The billionaire entrepreneur told the reporter that he spent more money than anybody else in the United States on UFO/alien research and guess what: there are alien “visitors” living on our planet. Again, think Men in Black, to give you another Hollywood reference.
The purpose of the 60 Minutes interview was to focus on Robert Bigelow’s contracts/business with NASA, but the discussion shifted abruptly towards alien life on Earth, after the tech mogul revealed that he has spent millions of dollars on UFO research.
When asked if he “believed” (I WANT TO BELIEVE!) in “aliens”, here’s what Robert had to say:
I’m absolutely convinced. That’s all there is to it.’
‘There has been and is an existing presence, an ET presence [on Earth].
‘I spent millions and millions and millions – I probably spent more as an individual than anybody else in the United States has ever spent on this subject [aliens].’
And when told that average Joe Citizens will believe that he’s crazy for spewing these kinds of theories on TV, our man gave a beautiful answer:
I don’t give a damn. I don’t care.’
‘It’s not gonna make a difference. It’s not gonna change the reality of what I know.’
Keep in mind, this guy is a tech-genius who works with NASA and has billions of dollars to spend on basically anything he wants. The point is, I’d take him very seriously. NASA is obviously denying any knowledge about alien life, foreign or domestic.
